When I got home, I received an extra charge on my credit card for $25. I stayed at the Palms Casino Resort for 5 days, from 11 Jan to 16 Jan. I also wish that the City Council would be able to do something to stop hotels which can make up their own fees, without telling their customers. If anyone knows Las Vegas well, please give us the names of hotels which do not charge us this ridiculous fees. I will not come back to Palms, and I wish everyone reading this will not stay at the hotel. So, I don't know when their policy was changed. The last time I stayed at Palms, they did not charge me this horrible fee. I live in Australia, and I visit Las Vegas once every year.
On the minibar, they only have a sticker showing the price per item stocked in there, if consumed. Where did it say about it in their policy? If they want to charge us, they must write: All items in the minibar cannot be removed, or we will charge you this nominated amount. I called them and they said that because I moved items out of the fridge, and although I did put them back, I did not put them in the right place, so they charged me $25 for them to restock the bar.
